Alex_Simmons Alex Simmons Creator/writer, is no overnight success. Prior to BLACKJACK, Simmons wrote a number of juvenile mysteries, under a variety of pseudonyms for many well-known publishers; three children's books for Disney. He also created the "Clue Kids" series, for Troll. Simmons also wrote several stage plays, including "Sherlock Holmes and the Hands of Othello" which received critical praise from the Amsterdam News, and the NY Times; and three biographies for Steck-Vaughn, including one on Denzel Washington. Simultaneous to writing and publishing BLACKJACK, Simmons is also authoring two original novels, "FUTURE FLASH" a sci-terror tale, and "THE RAVEN LEAGUE," the adventures of six street urchins who get involved in exciting and dangerous mysteries in Sherlock Holmes' London.
